I know I’ve got a long way to go, just from my own read throughs of the progress on my current draft, but there’s always those details I know I’ll miss, those parts I think are clear and understandable, but are actually a bit vague or confusing. Serious critique partners or critique groups are hard to find, though. It’s tough to match up levels of experience, time commitments, critiquing styles and expectations for feedback.

Eventually I’ll be ready to discuss or get beta readers. It’s kind of going slow at the moment. I’m great at writing first drafts and have a few under my belt. Now I’m learning how to edit and how to critique. Quite a process.
